Day 3: DRAC ARDENICA BERAT

After breakfast, departure for the city sightseeing tour. Drac is one of the oldest cities of Europe, built in 627 BC. It is the second largest city in Albania, after Tirana, and with its long sandy beaches, is one of the most attractive summer tourist resorts of the country.
The city tour includes:
- Ancient Theater, largest on the Balkan Peninsula;
- Old City;
- Sandy Beach.
Departure to the medieval monastery of Ardenica, sightseeing of the monastery. Lunch is organized within the monastery complex.
Departure to the city of Berat. Arrival in the afternoon hours, accommodation in hotel, dinner.

Day 4: BERAT OHRID

Breakfast and departure for a city sightseeing tour of Berat, known by the name “THE CITY WITH 1000 WINDOWS”. Berat is one of the greatest tourist attractions in Albania, for its numerous medieval churches (over 400) and mosques, and specific city architecture, that can only be compared with the similar one, in the city of Ohrid in Macedonia.
The city tour includes:
- The Fortress of Berat;
- The Old City;
- The Museum of the famous medieval frescoes painter Onufri;
Lunch is organized in the national restaurant.
After lunch, departure to Ohrid

ADITIONAL PROGRAM

Day 5: VALONA - OHRID

The additional day 5 includes a visit to Valona , another pearl on the Albanian coast.Valona is build on the ruins of two big and important Roman cities, Apolonia and Oricum. The sightseeing tour includes visit to Roman ruins, to the old castle ,the Muradia mosque and to the monument of independency. Departure to Ohrid.

Day 1: OHRID TIRANA

Departure from Ohrid to Tirana by tour bus, crossing the border at Kafasan, 12 km away from the city of Struga, located at the northern side of Ohrid Lake. Arrival in Tirana in the afternoon, accommodation in hotel and dinner.

Day 2: TIRANA KRUJA DRAC

Breakfast and departure on city sightseeing tour of Tirana.
The tour includes:
- Catholic Cathedral;
- Ethem Beg Mosque;
- National History Museum;
- The Square of Skender Beg;
- The Opera House of Tirana.
After the city tour departure to the city of Kruja (30 km from Tirana). Kruja is famous, for it was a birth place of Skender Beg, the founder of the First medieval Albanian state, and one of the most beautifull cities of Albania.
The city tour of Kruja includes:
- Ethnographic museum;
- The Castle of Skender Beg;
- The traditional bazaar of Kruja, where famous hand made carpets can be found, as well as souvenirs made of alabaster and many other authentic handicrafts.
Lunch is organized in one of the national restaurants in Kruja.
Departure from Kruja to the city of Drac, arrival at the late afternoon hours, accommodation in hotel, dinner.
