Dea tours Ohrid, in cooperation with the academic painter from Belgrade Mr. Vladica Kocare, with the special purpose of folowing and continuing the centuries old tradition of icon painting in Ohrid and wider, in Macedonia, has oppened the first school of icon painting.
Every lover of art, especialy of the Bizantian art, will have an oportunity to create an icon on a genuine Bizantine way and style and take the same one home, as his/her souvenir from Ohrid.

Day 1: INTRODUCTION

- Icon as a specific artistic expresion and specific artistic technique {technologue for preperation of the base (surface) drawing, gilding, act of drawing and lacquering}
- Glue solvent, thiner (for paint); solution (saturation and impregnateing of the plow)
- Glueing and paste of canvas on the impregnated plaw;
- Preparation of preparature and preparation of the base(the plaw);

Day 2: DRAW

- Sand paper proces on preparated plaw
- Transmition (transfer) of drawing
- Engraveing (carve) of the draw

Day 3: PREPARATION FOR THE PROCES OF GOLDING
AND THE ACT OF GILDING

- Bolus aplication
- Selak lacquering
- Mikstion aplication of glue
- Act of gilding
